As much as we love jeans, we also dig a denim skirt – mini, midi, pencil, or long. Thanks to Paris, we’ll have plenty of the latter to choose from come spring. See Stella McCartney’s double denim look, Chloé’s floor-skimming cargo, and Kenzo’s calf-length version in light blue. And as we rarely encounter a denim pencil skirt we don’t like, seeing several of them in SS 15 PFW street-style pics (above) made us immediately do a search online for the best ones to buy right now (Get the Look below). Our advice: start with a knee-length style now…and then work your way up (or down, wink wink) to something longer for spring.

This is a look that requires a chic shoe, though – i.e. stilettos or sandals that wrap up the foot and around the ankle many, many times – or something cool and casual, like the ever-so-popular Stan Smiths, or Gazelles, or something interesting and pointy. Actually, now that we think of it, Marc Jacobs’ Dr. Scholls-style slides would be really good with the long skirt. But you’ll figure it out; you’ve got enough time before spring to do so.
