The all-in-one…Is it a timeless closet essential or a fun trend to try now and move on from by summer’s end? Depends on who you talk to! 3×1‘s Scott Morrison, whose done two styles (selvedge and non) for spring, told us, “Every time I see the ladies wearing overalls; whether it be at Coachella, or Lollapalooza, or at my favorite pizza place in Brooklyn, Roberta’s, I can’t help but think how amazing they look and how classic a pair of just slightly oversized overalls can look.” So true.

But, on the other hand, as Frame Denim‘s Jens Grede points out, “We love an overall, not because it is a timeless wardrobe staple, but because it is the opposite. An overall is a moment, a passionate Spring fling. You might not see it for a few years, but when it comes back, it comes packing a punch.” Exactly. Did you see model Hanneli Mustaparta in the brand’s white pair during spring fashion week last year? She completed her look with an ice pop. Whether an overall, worker-style jumpsuit, or short-all, the denim one-piece could be like that – a sweet treat that melts away. Or, maybe – because not only was the look on the streets of London fashion week recently (above and below), but we know there’s more to come when Frame’s fall 2014 collection hits stores in August, too  – it could just stick around for seasons to come.
